"I build sales results for a living, then teach how it's done."
Thayanandan is the founder and face of MindMeld, and the driving force behind its sales pillar. His work answers one simple question for every business he touches: why aren't your people selling the way they could — and what's really stopping them?
He isn't a trainer who has never carried a sales target. He's a founder and operator — running businesses across testing, calibration, and consulting — who trains and coaches from the floor he still stands on. That operator's perspective is what separates his work from pure theory: he builds sales results for a living, then teaches how it's done.
His background is deliberately unusual. He holds a software engineering degree from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). Rather than staying in code, he turned that analytical, systems-thinking discipline onto the least predictable variable in business — human behaviour. The result is a way of selling and coaching that treats every stalled B2B deal as a diagnosable system problem, not a mystery.
That diagnosis is grounded in credentials, not instinct alone. Thaya is an HRDC-certified trainer, a certified NLP Practitioner, and qualified in Timeline Therapy — cognitive tools he uses to find and clear the real blocks behind a sales result. He has also mastered modern sales-questioning methodology, including NEPQ, which he applies as one instrument in a wider conversational kit — never as a generic script.
What makes his approach different is that he shows it working, live. In front of a room, Thaya uses AI as a real-time diagnostic tool — surfacing the root cause of a sales problem and reframing it on the spot — so clients don't just hear a method, they watch it work before they buy it.
His conviction is simple: human psychology transfers across sectors. Once you diagnose the root cause, the same principles move a technical B2B sale, a retail floor, or a service counter. It's why he consults as readily as he trains — helping SMEs not only sharpen their people, but design and build the sales processes and operations they're missing.
Right now, that work is live — inside his own group. Thaya is rebuilding the sales operation of Obsnap Testing, a testing and calibration business, from the ground up: designing its sales process, structure, and rhythm. It is his own methodology applied to a real business with real targets — proof that he runs his own playbook before he hands it to anyone else.
